Today begins a month filled to the brim with new shows for you, our lovely viewers. Along with our usual new show premiere every Friday, there will also be NINE special releases peppered throughout the next 31 days. Exciting, isn't it? If you're wondering what this month will be all about (anime wise, anyway), check out our August Lineup blog for more details. The first of the month will bring with it two new special releases at once, albeit at slightly different times. Get ready for an all out race for the prize in La Storia della Arcana Famiglia, and a tale told through the beauty of song in Tari Tari, both available today on Anime Network Online. For years the island of Regalo has been protected by the Arcana Tarroco, whose success is due to the members’ unusual skills with Tarot Cards and more conventional weapons. Unexpectedly, the leader has decided to retire and that his successor will be the winner of a series of duels. Even more surprising, he throws his daughter Felicitiá in as part of the prize. However, Felicitiá has a few cards of her own up her sleeve! Prepare for mayhem when mixing the Bachelorette and the Sopranos with a crazy Gypsy fortuneteller in La Storia della Arcana Famiglia!
The last year of high school is always a time of both looking forward while reflecting on the past. Can something as simple as a choir club really heal past wounds and soothe the pangs that come with growing up? Can music really bring people together? Three students, the former music student Wakana Sakai, equestrian Sawa Okita, and choirgirl-turned-street performer Konatsu Miyamoto, discover the answers while learning how to grow up through the medium of song in TARI TARI!
