The Coffee God replied to the topic ReKin-iro Mosaic (Kinmoza!) in the forum.Rather than comparing their full catalog titles, since both companies have a diverse full catalog, I was comparing their Showgate specific catalog titles.
Just going by the past few seasons of Showgate titles, it fits more in line with a Sentai purchase rather than a FUNi purchase...

It just fits more along their type of show: cute girls slice of life. Yes, Funi recently streamed Miname-ke, but do ya really see them releasing it dubbed let alone getting the first three season: it'll probably wallow in licensed/development hell like Blessing of the Campallena or Tatami Galaxy.
Viz...naw don't see it, not Shonen/action enough.
MB...naw as well...hmm...
So yeah, Sentai it is, to go along with their other cute shows: Hidamari, A-Channel, Place to Place, etc...
