No, but I'm positive that I would have a copy of Gurren Lagaan on my shelf if Bandai hadn't screwed ADV with that dub. Maybe ADV and Bandai could still be here today, but we'll never truly know
What would Funimation do if it collected the ~8 million bucks it claims that it is "owed"? As a fan, what improvements would I see? Right now they appear to have far more money than Sentai, and yet Sentai churns out products which are better in the most important areas (eg:dubs, release turnarounds).
On money, Funi, and Geneon, this lawsuit is saving me tons of anime money as it gives me a pretty solid reason to abstain from buying any physical releases from Funimation that aren't Geneon rescue releases.
