Cover art for the DVD's added. Blu-ray should be pretty much the same. Maybe one less disc.

I was just going to post this as soon as I got back from putting my laundry in the dryer.

Cover looks nice enough, don't know if I'm going to get it though.
I was seriously disappointed with the end of it.
Maybe the dub will really shine, and in that case, I'd have no choice but to get it.

Blu-ray covers added. They are cropped differently and back is missing the girl with the eye-patch I seem to have forgotten the name of .

I think this dub will be quite good. The voices seem to match fairly well.

Sure, the ink spot censoring is now gone, and that makes things a bit... clearer... but that's irrelevant here.

Yeah, all in all, it wasn't too bad.
They tripped up on pronounciations a few times, pronouncing it one way, then changing it a couple lines later.
But pretty good overall.

-lol-
I noticed, that the cast is under aliases, and a few are variations of Looney Toons references.

Jubei Yagyu - Marie LeBlanc
Muneakira Yagyu - Ben Wabal
Yukimura Sanada - Mina Jetoi
Sen Tokugawa - Tabitha Hickey
Matabei Goto - Eileen Dover
Hanzo Hattori - Ophelia Cox
Narration - Hassan Chop

I especially like the Hassan Chop alias, that amuses me probably more than it should.

I just knew they'd have Hilary Haag as Yukimura Sanada!
She fits that type of character pretty well.

I agree, in fact, I even mentioned that to Haissan once, but he never really said anything about it.

They read like 70s porn star aliases!

Yeah, that's the only one I couldn't recognize either.

Ok, so after finishing 2 episodes of the uncensored version now, I have to say, I actually prefer the censored version.
It was both tactful and artistic, as the ink blots fit right in with the general artistic ink blot theme.

The nipple shots everywhere are seriously overbearing.
I mean, the ED alone is like one big gigantic stream of nipple shots.

The dub on the whole isn't bad though, but they're still having issues with pronunciations from time to time.

Is the dub solid? If so I'm going to skip watching it in subs.
I'm an Anime Network Ghost...

It has a few issues with names, but other than that, it's not too bad.

That being said...
Is it just me, or did they increase the sub font size for all recent shows (like this, AB!, and couple others)?

The English script stays close to the subtitles but every so often the English voice actors get a word wrong: an “at” is inserted where an “of” should be, “the” instead of “a,” the wrong form of a word for context, and so forth. This happens a lot, too; perhaps two dozen such errors are spread across the twelve episodes, maybe more
- Theron Martin

Apparently there was a problem with the dub on this show or something? Anyone have any reasons for why? I'm currently checking out the first episode.

Additionally I can't watch the second episode dubbed. It keeps loading the sub version.

Umm, are you trying to watch the second episode subbed or dubbed? Your last sentence is confusing me.
(That's fairly easy these days.)
