Recently some anime show endings have come to my attention. I decided I favor the ones with a clear cut ending, such as a perament death, or disappearance, resolution to a big dilemma. However, I do not like the "he, she, or they", are out there somewhere and will return some day, leaving their children or family, with other people waiting.
I also do not like the Hell Girl end of Second Season, even though Ai disappeared and souls of her family was free, she is suppose to be back in HG Third season? That do not make any sense, come on let Ai go. The way the other school girl went to Hell is a good enough subsitute.
Here is where the otaku and anime fans(who do not want to be called that, me I don't care) vote come in, vote for your favorite endings and explain in brief thread why this was a good ending to your favorite anime show. What I am asking is which of you favorite and least favorite series ended, tell if you liked or dislike the ending and tell me why(for example: Claymore had a strong showing, but
Claire let the orphan boy distract her from killing Priscillia, yes dope she is just like Priscilla). I hate the thought of Ai coming back to Hell Girl.
See it seems silly to you, but to me some ending were great(Fate/Stay the Night) some stunk (Spiral)
Tell me the show and why that ending worked or not worked.
I hate the thought of Ai coming back to Hell Girl.
See it seems silly to you, but to me some ending were great(Fate/Stay the Night) some stunk (Spiral)series: Claymore and Spiral: Claymore: The worst and recent ending I saw was for two Claymore had a strong showing,
but Claire let the orphan boy distract her from killing Priscillia, yes dope she is just like Priscilla). Spiral: The Antagonist was about the beat the wimpy Protaganist to pulp, but his co-Night Child, or whatever talked him out of it.
WHAT!? I figure out most messy plot, so I will not spoil it for anyone else want to watch, but I am not recommending this one. I loved Claymore, but hated that open-end ending.

Several shows with bad endings are bad because the manga that has inspired are not over yet...
I might put a list up latter on some of the shows I have seen, and will rate them: Stupid Ending, Cheesy Ending, No ending, Bad Ending, Good Ending, Solid Ending. It might be awhile though as I am busy this week.
It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. To boldly go where no main character will go...
cheer: The Best ending is Fate/Stay the Night, Best Student Council and Bravo.
These ending are a continuation, graduation, and finds love. Fate/Stay the Night is the best, the male main character does mourn the loss, but he realizes it she is in a better place, he know he will recover and they did the right thing
Steam Detectives because all take one more scene but just leaves it up to imagination. Also Original both Eva and FMA endings. My web site has a whole page just for bad endings. www.freewebs.com/supermutant/10worstanimeendings.htm Spoiler alert before you go to the page.
My favorite ending, Mainly because of the song, is the first ending to Outlaw Star. The song is entitled Melfina's Song. I think the images are great and the sound just perfects it. Afro Samurai had a good ending as well, very well don't character sketches. But that is just me.
I am not going into details about the endings just a review and catagorize.
Stupid: Evangelion, Big O(1st season), Tekkkon Street(movie), Eureka(left you hanging ending), E Otherwise (is the lamest psychic dead or coming back for his little sister), Claymore(why did you let that Priscilla creature get away).
Bad Ending: Evangelion, Tekkkon Street, Spiral, E Otherwise, Eureka, ToLoveRu(loved the show hated the ending), Super Milk Chan. Revolutionary Girl Utena(both movie and t.v. anime), etc.
Good Ending: Best Student Council, Yumeria, Bravo(best harem ending), The Oran High School Host Club, Vampire Knight(the anime and manga), Pricess Pretty Lucie, Witchblade, and Hell Girl the 2nd Season
